Move in Week

Move in week for the chapter is anytime after August 15th. By August 15, all of the rooms will have been “grubbed out”, or cleaned, the AC will have had a chance to cool down all of the rooms, the repairs and changes for the summer will be complete and we’ll be welcoming everyone back to a house that is ready for school. Today we authorized Hot Water Boiler repairs that were expected to break down at any moment.

I will be in town on the 15th in the late afternoon. Since a large number of you assist your son’s with move in, We are going to have a reception for the parents and invite any parents or family members to dinner. Thursday August 18th at 5:00 PM you will have a chance to meet with all of the other parents who are in town for move in, and sample the culinary skills of our cook. After dinner, we will be having a Parents Council meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend. We will also be having these council meetings at Parents Weekend September 23 – 25, 2011 (make any hotel or air reservations now).

In addition, in September the chapter’s web page will have a secure parent’s portal where you can look up dates and find information on the chapter and important information. www.DeltaChiArizona.com. You are also able to update your information here, and make payments on your son’s account.
